For Parents
As a baseball parent, you invest countless hours driving to practice, hitting off tees in the garage, and throwing batting practice. But physical mechanics are only half the game. Situational awareness is what keeps kids engaged on the field and prevents those chaotic youth baseball errors.
Why Inplay?
We built Inplay because "mental reps" are hard to simulate in the backyard. Coaches spend practice time running drills, but game scenarios are complex. By spending just 3 minutes a day on Inplay, your child learns how the nine defensive positions work together as a unit.
Built for Families, With Privacy First
Inplay is designed for youth baseball players and rolling out to whole clubs. We take privacy and digital safety seriously:
- No Personal Data: We do not ask for your child's name, email, phone number, or age.
- Minimal Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand aggregate usage — like which puzzles are played and how the daily challenge is completed. There are no advertising SDKs and no cross-site tracking.
- No Ads: Inplay is an ad-free environment. There are no pop-ups, no banners, and no sponsored links.
- Anonymous Sessions: The app creates a random, anonymous session ID on your device to track the daily puzzle streak locally. That's it.
How to Use Inplay With Your Child
We encourage parents to sit with their child for their first few Inplay sessions. Talk through the scenarios together. Ask them: "Okay, there's a runner on first, and you're the shortstop. If the ball is hit to the outfield, where should you go?" Once they grasp the framework, they can easily play their daily 3 innings independently.
